Robyn Quinn: Nice long walking trails and paths but no bathrooms anywhere so I won't be going back. Philly is ridiculous with bathrooms... they want tourists to make money but don't provide for basic needs like using a restroom.Restrooms: No restrooms anywhere in sight and no signs showing where 1 might be.Key word MIGHT

Lon Young: Great hiking trails. On both sides of the river. Not very technical, but not completely paved, either. Beautiful in the autumn!

L B: Really neat historic park with awesome play structures. My kids ranging from 2-9 all had a blast. Plenty to do for all ages. Bucket swings and regular swings. The walking trail around the lake is beautiful
Jessica Heintz: Great playground inside!!!!Playground: Huge metal slides with a cool climbing to get up to the top. There are smaller slides built into the little hillsides that dip into the playscape. Some awesome climbing spider web and natural wooden structures as well. Can't forget about the 360 swing set with different types of swings.
Ernie Ragonesi: Nice relaxing spot for a picnic or a nice long dog walk.
nicolas nava: So calm and great outdoor place for walking.
Kathleen Card: It's so beautiful there..but they are chopping down 54 heritage trees to put in soccer/baseball fields. Astro turf will replace the gorgous meadow that is being destroyed. But go & pray for the trees & critters who call this place home.

Rafael Edery: A place to relax, share with family, very beautiful, I recommend it
Wen Liu: This park covers a large area. Since I walked, I didn’t go to many places, but it’s worth mentioning that those who don’t have a car should go to East Fairmount Park, which is close to the river. The beautiful scenery is worth a visit. I originally went there for the cherry blossoms, but when I got there the flowers had faded.
Jean Lopez: Great environment, good for BBQ, able to put your music and enjoy the weather with family.
Kathy Godwin: Was disappointed that high gusty winds blew most cherry blossoms off trees
Qadirah Russell: Fairmount park is beautiful all the way through. Amazing places for photography and to relax. Peaceful. Just be careful cutting through some parts of the park alone.
Cory Matthew: Did you know that the hand, holding the torch of Lady Liberty was on display in Fairmount Park in Philadelphia during the Centennial Exhibition in 1876 way before the statue was assembled and erected in New York City? The copper statue, a gift from the people of France, was designed by French sculptor Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi.
