Josh Padams: We have been taking our pup, Mosa, to Groove Hound for the past couple of weeks after a recommendation from a friend. We are SOLD. The team working at Groove Hound is amazing. It really feels like a family environment where they care about your pup. Each dog gets a level of attention that I haven't seen at any other place. It feels personal, and that's really what we want for our little dood.

Brenton Finklea: The Groove Hound is a gem in Fishtown. A grass roots operation run by Gert, the owner and pack leader, they truly care for their animals. The dog day-boarding services are fantastic and are the only place in the area with an outdoor yard so your furry friends don't pick up bad habits of using the bathroom indoors. The "pack" is carefully selected to make sure the dogs get along and are able to play hard without breaking into fights. My very timid rescue found her second home at the Groove Hound. She cowered around the city for the first few weeks after we moved into the neighborhood, but once she started interacting with all the other dogs at the Groove Hound she really came out of her shell. Gert is super reliable and a pleasure to work with, and the rest of the staff really care for the dogs like their own. Can't recommend it highly enough.

We took Great our Pyrenees puppy for his first groom last month and he had such a positive experience --not only did they fully walk us through the process and alleviate any concerns but they did such an amazing job at getting his undercoat out and making him feel so so much better! He's been itching less and he just seems happier after the groom so it was well worth the $$Very experienced groomers who know the right cuts for each breed/lifestyle but also they just understand dog behavior and non verbal communication and they go slow and make sure your dog is comfortable and happy.

Ethan Knox: I've taken 2 different dogs to Ruff Life over the last 3 years, and both have been transformed by the experience. There is no better way for pups to learn confidence and develop social skills than from other well-socialized dogs, and this is the perfect safe environment for them to do so. There's a reason that my dog knows it as "school."The staff at Ruff Life is super invested in the development and happiness of the dogs that go there; both of my pups started out scared of the place and cried when I dropped them off at first; but after just a few days it became their very favorite place. Now if we walk near 3rd & Market he tries to drag me down the street, and will sit pressed against the blue door, waiting to go see his friends.After just a few weeks at Ruff Life my dog went from cowering behind me if any dog was nearby to the most outgoing, social little pup in the neighborhood.The best part is that even with all the puppy energy, he will sleep for the entire day after a daycare visit. That's priceless. I don't have to feel guilty when life gets overwhelming and I just can't find the time to socialize him during the week - and I get the extended "tired snuggly dog" for free as a bonus.The crew at Ruff Life are family, they regularly save me when something comes up and I need my little dude to be out of the way for a minute. If you have a pup and you want the best for them, you should swing by the Ruff Life sooner than later.

When I go to pick them up at the end of the day, one of our dogs runs from me so she doesn't have to go home. She does everything she can to try and stay longer. The staff is amazing so caring and compassionate. This is an awesome doggie day care and we love it because our dogs love it and are so happy there.

Lisa Hooper: I am so grateful for Central Bark. I rescued Allen Iverson, a pittie mix puppy, who is so high energy about 4 months ago. Allen is also fairly skittish from being abused. The staff at central bark is so great with him, special shout out to Brittany and Kristy but all of them are wonderful. Allen loves going there and having him there a couple times a week gives me my sanity as he requires a lot of attention and exercise . Allen comes home tired and happy every time he goes. Allen has also come a long way in 4 months and I attribute a great deal of that to CB!

They know my pup by name and are always happy to see him. I feel 100% safe leaving my dog, Roadie with them. He’s boarded there several times and also gone to the day camp many times. The Comly Road facility is literally amazing! I have not one bad or negative thing to say about this place. I’m grateful that it exists. My dog and I love it so much!

When he gets a bath here, he comes out clean and happy. I don’t know how they do it. The staff is so friendly and helpful too! I’ll be a customer for life until they shutter the doors at this place.

Matthew Rhine: Philly Dog School is a great place to have your dog watched for the day. Make sure you call to get on their list ASAP because there may be a waiting period. It is worth it though, because they are flexible and easy to book stays. The dogs are all well-screened to make sure that your pup will be safe and have a great time. Whenever we take our Sheltie here, he always comes home a happy tired dog.

My dog started going here when she was twelve weeks old and almost two years later, she still gets the full body wiggles every time we turn onto 3rd street. The staff are knowledgeable, accommodating, and literal dog whisperers. The grooming services are top notch and competitively priced - shout out to Jess for being gentle and patient with my dog who won’t let me come within 5 feet of her with a damp washcloth. I can’t recommend Barkadelphia highly enough, and will be a lifelong customer!

Julian DiMelis: Club Fetch is by far the best doggie daycare in Philadelphia!!! Our dog absolutely loves it and we love getting the reviews and seeing how he's doing throughout the day. The entire staff is so helpful and accommodating, and it is so evident how much they love the dogs and how much individualized attention they give them!! With busy schedules, it has really been a lifesaver! It was evident from our first meet and greet how clean they keep the facilities and with how often they walk the dogs, our dog never comes home disgusting. For our dog, the number of dogs they allow is perfect so he is active but not completely overwhelmed. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants their dog to receive the best care while they're at work!

Kelsey Smith: My dog, Nori, loves this place to the moon and back! Kish and the rest of the staff are lovely, so kind and attentive. You can tell they all care about the dogs. I've boarded my dog there for a few days and it was easy and great for peace of mind. They do a great job at matching dogs with similar play styles and energy levels. The days do fill up so I have to plan out my requests at least a few days in advance. Sometimes I call the day before and if there's a cancellation I can get a last minute spot. I highly recommend this doggie daycare!

Some of our best friends have been made at this park!! Fresh running water, shade isn't great so plan accordingly, cobblestone is an issue for older dogs but it's in progress to get renovated. Overall a wonderful community resource!

Cyndi R (Pickle): . Their pickup service is a godsend, prices are more than affordable, and my dogs come home tired but NOT exhausted or stressed, which is a good sign IMO. I think they do a good job of balancing play time and chill time, and they separate the dogs into appropriate groups. I've noticed my one more nervous dog has gotten a lot better and less reactive from this occasional socialization boost.
Joanna Allen-Boyd: We absolutely adore this daycare! Sending our youngest puppy there was a bit nerve-wracking for us, since we had never done it before with our older dogs. But let me tell you, it has turned out to be the best decision ever! Our little pup has an absolute blast and gets to burn off all that excessive energy. By the time he comes home, he's a bit more calm and collected - or at least a little less crazy! It's been wonderful to see him enjoy himself and we've noticed a great improvement in his social skills and overall development. If you're searching for a cozy and welcoming place where your dog can feel safe and comfortable, I highly recommend checking out this place!

Taylor and her crew were recommended to us by another client, and after tons of scrolling on the Happy Tayls social media pages we finally made our first trip to doggy day care. Stella & Remi absolutely love it, and as a pup owner it is so nice to see pictures posted of our girls throughout the day. The staff is only one text away if anything comes up and they make pick up/drop off so easy. We were so nervous our first day, but being able to text to check in on our pups made all the difference for us. Having 2 lab puppies can be a lot of work, so having a safe place they can go every Thursday and play/make new friends is an awesome break for them and us! We love our Happy Tayls Family!

Liz Duncan: I could not find the right boarding place to accommodate my spunky 10 month puppy until I found Happy Tayls. My pups a bit rambunctious and needs lots of attention and he sure did get it from here. So many other puppers he could play with and have fun. After his meet and greet with them, he came home and slept for hours! After his first full weekend with them, he is still a little sleepy boy. We will definitely be back and hopefully be regulars. The girls that work here absolutely love these pups and do whatever they can to make them comfortable. Highly suggest happy Tayls!

All his anxiety = GONE!! My vet was so happy to hear he’s going she said, “It’s not just the socialization and physical tiredness, it’s also the mental stimulation he so desperately needed.” Regretfully, I never took that into consideration.I reached out and received a response within the hour, her onboarding /website is impressive, in terms of getting to know your dog, it reminded me of filling it paperwork for my kids when they started school.Taylor and her staff are so incredibly creative, they think of everything!!! Zdog is the only place where she gets along with other dogs, which is great to help her socialize. They’re also always very accommodating of last minute bookings!
