The food is fresh, as the name indicates. It is also nutritious, healthful and enjoyable to eat. They make the best Lemongrass Soup. You can buy it with tofu to keep your meal Vegan. Best around. And their frozen yogurt is the best, creamy and rich.

Our meat eater friend who tagged along commented how he didn’t even know it was mock chicken. ALSO- their sweet potato fries are the best I’ve ever had- no joke. Seriously, don’t skip this spot!

I thought I'd give it another shot but everytime I come there'd always something wrong with my order. I ordered a large meal deal and got a small drink and small fry. The woman who took my order looked miserable. I work in the restaurant industry. I know how hard it can be but it's every time I come. I'm so upset. Cuz it takes me 40 mins to drive into the city just to get a vegan cheesesteak. :(Food is amazing. Service could be better.
Stephanie Miller: The atmosphere of this location was very hip and calm feeling - lots of cute plants. The employees were really nice and gave their recommendations based on my interests. I ended up getting the smokehouse burger which had amazing flavor - couldn’t even tell it wasn’t meat - and I regularly eat meat. The tastiest component was the bbq sauce which was flavorful and not too sweet. The patty itself was a little small but still a good size. The brioche bun was soooo good. I also got the sweet potato fries which were delicious as well with a little char. They had a slightly sweet seasoning which paired well with the hipcity tangy dipping sauce. Only thing was they could have been a little crispier, but overall amazing and can’t wait to have them again. The turmeric tangerine juice was also delicious and not too overly sweet. I got the impression it was pretty healthy for juice and I really enjoyed it. Give this locally owned place a try! J W: I traveled from Harrisburg, PA, for work in Philly, and remembered this vegan spot my brother told me about. He said it's the best vegan cheesteak he's ever had! When I got there, I was told the grill was not working. I told the brother, named Enoch, that I traveled all the way from Harrisburg for that cheesesteak. He said, "bro, I got you! You came all the way from Harrisburg? I'm going to make your sandwich on the griddle." THAT'S CUSTOMER SERVICE!! That joint was slamming, and I could only imagine what it have tasted like grilled. It can’t be beat.The Kale doesn’t have huge stems, the service I received from the tall man with long dread locks was incredible. Ma’at Guidance: Thé smoothies from what I have had are pretty good. The app though leaves much to be desired. I thought this was a new store judging by how non customer friendly the app is. If attempting to place an order but I hit the back arrow, why must I start from scratch..wheréd did my shopping cart go? That’s just one of the issues. Probably losing out on orders because you won’t fix the app.

Joel Sell: We are a late dinner there on 12.30.23 at the University City/ West Philly location. Upon entering, the friendly staff behind the counter proceeded to list more than half a dozen things they were out of and blamed "higher ups" for not supporting them. Again, they were friendly and pleasant, but it was obvious they were frustrated at not being able to have everything that they were supposed to have. One of the many things they were out of was CHICKEN. That was definitely disappointing.I asked one of the staff behind the counter what dish/combination they recommended in light of the missing menu choices. He said he liked the beef and broccoli. So I found a beef and broccoli lo mein on the menu and ordered that dish. When it came out it was very good. However, there were only three or four pieces of broccoli in the container.I've never had that before at Honey grow to compare it to previous times, but it sure seemed like there should have been more broccoli based on the photo on the menu. Regardless, the meal definitely was very tasty and I would order it again. We stayed until they closed and the staff person who came to us and told us they were closing up was very friendly and pleasant.The whole time we were there, there were lots of customers coming and going, mostly takeout/door dash, so they were busy up until they closed the doors for the night.All in all, I would go back, but I would think twice before going in the evening for a late dinner for fear that they would be out of many items on the menu.
