S M: Very inexpensive shop for plants. Over 50 starter plants at the $4 price range. $1 cuttings, highly recommend it. Friendly and honest staff.
Patrick Linder: If you're in Philly and you love plants, you need to visit, City Planter! The plant selection is fantastic, you can tell they know and love what they are doing. There are terrariums and wall installations along with the more standard succulents and potted plants you find in other shops.Make sure you stop and talk with their team. They are brimming with tips, tricks, and facts. I could have easily talked for another hour or two.Don't miss their installation wall by the counter. While it's not for sale, it shows you what's possible if you put in the time and effort needed to grow something really beautiful.

The reviews were good, and I needed a good plant to give a loved one as a gift.I can't remember the names of the young lady & the young man who assisted me, but they were great! Once I explained what I was looking for, they gave excellent suggestions. Aside from helping me find the perfect plant, they offered to gift wrap it for me. I went with the plant pictured, and Grandma loved it. She was excited about repotting it. There was a great selection and variety of plants. I'd definitely return to get plants for myself the next time I'm in the city.

Ruth Briggs: I have lived in the area for a while but only found it in 2019. It is unfortunate for this small business to be situated next to a vacated construction project, which obscures this little plant shop. They have an excellent selection of succulents, house plants and containers that are locally made and sourced from ceramic artists, thrown in clay and terracotta. The staff are awesome.UPDATE: I was searching for a less common houseplant and returned to Stump. I found an interesting creeping plant that I have never seen before…surprisingly, it’s a variety of ficus.

Nancy Logan: Feeney's is more a museum than a flora source. Tons and tons of dead, expensive inventory; and sometimes that's what you're looking for, Byers Choice, Disney, Dept 56, etc. Nonetheless, every region needs a Feeny's, the keeper of the imperial-tchochkes.
The Sharpest Edge: This was my first and certainly not my last visit to this business! There is so much to see that I was truly overwhelmed with all the home decor and seasonal gifts/trimmings. There are items from little kids to adults and also for your pets. This is not a store where you are going in to get a bargain price. It is a store that has quality items. There was also a garden department. You can buy your christmas tree there. We're going to spend about an hour there. Enjoy!!!!

L B: At first glance I thought we were going to be so disappointed but once we actually got in, it was very cool. Old historic buildings and gardens, lots of history, and knowledgeable staff. The grounds were well kept and the trail was beautiful!Restrooms: Very clean restrooms! Water fountain available too

Looks like a fun time for toddler and older aged kids.Restrooms: Available near the welcome center. Large, accessible and clean.

Loretta Marie: Wow! The place has changed so much over the last few years. There were so many wonderful items to choose from. We chose from the garden area and the gift shop.
Steven Roth: Nice place. Not the largest of its type, but most people, I imagine, should find what they're looking for. Plenty of help available. It's neat, clean, and orderly. They feature live plants, outdoor attire, plant supplies. Driveway a bit confusing: enter in the south, leave from the north driveways. My sole reason for taking away a star is their astronomical prices. Yikes. But if money is not an object for you, you'll love it.
Social Media: What a beautiful place! Many boutiques and great landscaping and areas to sit down.
Rob & Claire Robinson: with how easy the process was, and how nice the results turned out. We picked style, colors and lettering and were informed that wed be informed that Geoff would be doing the installation and would contact us when our order was in. Geoff called shortly afterwards, came by two days later and did a beautiful, high quality install in under 2 hours. He took the old mailbox out, repaired the original site with dirt & grass, repositioned and dug out the new site, constructed, leveled, cleaned, created a circle of stone
